 LAKSHYA’S YOUNG ACHIEVER: SONALI MAHADEV TODKER
The movie ‘Dangal’ earned a lot of appreciation from the audiences around the country. The movie wonderfully portrays the life, hardships and achievements of  Geeta Phogat - a freestyle wrestler who won India's first ever gold medal in wrestling at the Commonwealth Games in 2010. She is also the first Indian female wrestler to have qualified for the Olympic Summer Games  and as much as the entire nation is proud we, Lakshya is very proud to support ‘Ms. Sonali Mahadev’ Todker who is making us proud with her achievements today in the ‘Junior wrestling’ category.

International Achievements
Won Silver at the Commonwealth Senior Wrestling Competition in Singapore on 6 November 2016.
National  Achievements
  • Won Silver at the 61st Senior Greco Roman Wrestling National Championship in Gonda, UP on 26 Oct 2016.
  • Won Gold at the Senior Female State Level Competition in Wagholi(Pune) - 2015
  • Won Gold at the Pune Mayor Wrestling Competition at Shivajinagar (Pune) -2015
  • Won Silver at the Pune Mayor Wrestling Competition at Shivajinagar (Pune) -2014
  • Won Silver at the Pyka l Wrestling Competition held at Aurangabad, 2014
  • Won Silver at the Pyka State Level Wrestling Competition held at Kolhapur, 2014.
  • Won Gold at the School State Level Competition in Yavatmal in 2014.
  • Won Silver at the Pune Mahapur Wrestling Competition at Shivajinagar (Pune) -2013

Sonali is just 18 years old and she is performing very well in Senior category recently.
The way she is displaying skills are appreciated by jury & is seen as the future star in her
weight category. She aims to win a gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics for India.

Just like Sonali, there are million others who are brimming with talents and dreams. It takes immense practise, dedication, hard work to turn it into a reality.
